SCHOOL IS SH*T (911.2) BY FIFI DURELLE JULIAN

Fifi Durelle Julian is a self taught artist from London. Over time she has developed her own unique style when creating art and using different textures and materials to bring the story to life.

School is sh*t created by Fifi Durelle Julian, textured bronze effect artwork created on a wood board with acrylic. The story behind this artwork lies within the name. Growing up in south London, it was a common theme in our school to chuck wet tissue paper to the ceiling in the toilets and forever saying school is sh*t (wasn't a lover of school as you can probably tell). Even though it was pretty gross, after a while once it dried it created this super cool effect on the ceiling. This is where her inspiration came from and how it was created. By adding the different bronze tones to this art piece gave it that optical illusion (not literally sh*t LOL).
